Can I redact sensitive information within images or scanned documents using Redactable?

Modified on Tue, Aug 27 at 10:40 AM

Yes, Redactable can redact sensitive information within images or scanned documents. The software is easy to use for this purpose, as the text or image is easily selectable.

Redactable uses OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to identify text within scanned documents or images inside a document. You can select the text manually or use the draw tool to put a box on top of the text you want to redact. You can also use the Categories functionality to identify text that is potentially sensitive (Date of Birth, Names, Social Security Numbers, etc.).
