To help you monitor and secure your account, Redactable provides a feature that displays a summary of your active sessions across different locations and devices. You can review session details and take action if needed to ensure your account’s security.
Viewing Active Sessions
Accessing the Feature:
Log in to your Redactable account.
Navigate to the "Settings" section.
Select "Password & Security" from the menu
2. Session Overview:
Under the "Sessions" section, you will see a list of all devices and locations currently logged into your account.
For each session, the following details are displayed:
Device Type: Desktop, mobile, or tablet.
Browser Name: The web browser used (if applicable).
IP Address: The Internet Protocol address of the device.
Geographic Location: Approximate city and country.
Last Activity Timestamp: The most recent activity or login time.
Managing Active Sessions
End Individual Sessions
Next to each session, you’ll see an option to "End Session". Click this option to end the session for that specific device.
Once a session is terminated, it will be immediately removed from the active sessions list.
2. Logging Out of All Other Sessions
To log out of all sessions except your current one:
Click the "End Other Sessions" button.
Confirm the action when prompted.
All sessions, except the one you are currently using, will be terminated.
What Happens When a Session is Terminated
If you log out from a session, the following behavior applies depending on the browser:
Immediate Logout: The page will no longer be usable, and any click will redirect to the login page.
Delayed Logout: The page remains accessible until refreshed, after which the session will require re-authentication.
Enhancing Account Security
Regularly monitor your active sessions to ensure there are no unauthorized logins.
Log out of sessions you don’t recognize or no longer use.
Use strong, unique passwords and enable two-factor authentication for added security.
