Redact documents in Redactable
‼️ Before beginning the redaction process, it’s important to note that when Redactable syncs a file back to Clio, it overwrites the original file in Clio. To avoid losing the original version, follow these steps:
- Make a copy of the file in Clio before uploading it to Redactable.
- Use this copy for redaction to ensure the original file remains untouched.
If overwriting the original file is not an issue, you can proceed without creating a copy.
8. Once uploaded, open the file to begin the redaction process.
9. Proceed with the redaction process as you normally would.
Finalize and sync back to Clio
10. Click on “Finalize Redaction” to lock your changes.
11. Redactable will automatically sync the updated file back to Clio.
Verify the updated file in Clio
12. Log into Clio and navigate to the relevant case or folder.
13. Open the synced file and confirm your redactions.
With this integration, managing Clio documents in Redactable is quick, easy, and secure.
