Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is a security feature that adds an extra layer of protection to your Redactable account. By requiring not only your password but also a one-time code from your mobile device, 2FA ensures that even if your password is compromised, your account remains secure.
Why It Matters
Enhanced Account Security
Passwords alone are vulnerable to attacks such as phishing and brute force. Two-Factor Authentication mitigates these risks by adding a second verification step. This ensures that unauthorized users cannot access your account even if they have your password.
Protection for Sensitive Data
If you work with sensitive documents such as legal, financial, or healthcare records, 2FA provides an additional layer of security. It protects your documents from unauthorized access to ensure compliance with industry standards for data protection.
Compliance with Security Regulations
Stringent data security regulations are common in industries like legal, healthcare, and finance. Enabling 2FA helps you meet these requirements and provides peace of mind that your sensitive information is well protected.
