Redaction Reason Feature

Redaction Reason


The "Redaction Reason" feature allows you to provide a reason for each redaction within a document. Redaction reasons will be stored at the document level. This applies to any redaction a user makes. 


1. How to access the Redaction Reason feature


a. You can add a Redaction Reason by clicking on the redaction and entering custom text or by selecting a reason from the dropdown.


b. The reason that you type in will get saved to the dropdown list for future use.



2. How to delete a Redaction Reason


a. To remove a redaction reason, simply click on the redaction and click the three dots or 'more' button


b. Select 'Delete Reason from All' to remove the redaction reason from all redactions. Or click 'Delete This Reason Only' to remove only the redaction that is selected.
