How to Add Team Members

Modified on Wed, Oct 7 at 1:20 PM

Collaborate with colleagues that are involved in the redaction process.

The Team Members feature lets you invite colleagues to your Redactable organization and assign each person a role based on the access they need. This makes it easy to collaborate securely on redaction workflows, and to manage permissions from one place instead of juggling access outside the platform.

This is ideal for teams collaborating on document review and redaction, where different people need different levels of access depending on their responsibilities.

Why it matters

Team Members is designed to make secure collaboration straightforward by:

  • Centralized management: Invite users and manage their roles directly within Redactable, no need to manage access outside the application.
  • Role-based access: Assign each team member the appropriate role so people only have the level of access their responsibilities require.
  • Clear invitation status: See at a glance who's accepted their invitation and who hasn't yet.
  • Flexible seat management: Add more seats directly when your team grows, without a separate request.

Redactable provides this kind of team management natively, so administrators can invite users and manage roles without relying on tools or processes outside the platform.

Using Team Members

Inviting collaborators

  1. Navigate to Team Members.

2. Select Invite Team Member.

    3. Enter the team member's email address and select the appropriate role (Admin or Standard).

4. Send the invitation.

Once sent, the invited user's status will display as Pending. After they accept the invitation and log in, their status changes to Active.
