Find & Replace Text
The "Find & Replace" feature lets you quickly redact specific text throughout your document by replacing it with predefined redaction reasons or custom text. It’s ideal for redacting repeated terms, like names or identifiers, and replacing them with Redaction Reasons or any text you choose.
An example use case would be redacting a police report. Perhaps the text says:
Officer George Jones spoke to John Smith, a witness. Officer George Jones asked John Smith if Jane Doe, the suspect, broke into the car. Jane Doe ran west on Main Street. Officer Jones asked Officer Sally Green to pursue Jane Doe.
You could use Find & Replace to do the following:
Find George Jones and Replace with "Officer #1".
Find John Smith and Replace with "Witness #1".
Find Jane Doe and Replace with "Suspect #1".
Find Sally Green and Replace with "Officer #2".
This would do all of the above replacements throughout the entire document instead of having to replace them one at a time.

b. If needed, enable the option "Match Case" for more refined searching. Use this option if you want to find text that exactly matches the case of your input.
4. Redact Individual or All Instances
a. To redact individual instances of the text, click the "Replace" button next to each instance.
b. To redact all instances at once, click the "Replace All" button.
5. Navigate Through Instances
a. Use the "Previous" and "Next" buttons to navigate through all instances of the text found.
b. The number displayed in the text field will update as you move between instances.
c. If necessary, you can edit or remove the redaction reason applied to all instances at any time. This ensures you have full control over the redaction process.
